Two words: Stormtrooper Executioner.
That is one of the highly anticipated characters that will not only be seen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but one of the characters that will be front and center on Force Friday II.
Force Friday II is the massive Star Wars merchandising blitz that will launch starting at midnight Sept. 1, giving fans and the world a glimpse of The Last Jedi before the movie’s Dec. 15 opening. It’s a whetting of the appetite and a tease of the heart at the same time.
Disney, Hasbro, Lego, Target, Toys"R"Us and other companies are doing giveaways, treasure hunts and midnight madness events for Force Friday II. Expect fans to pore over details to try to see how it all fits into The Last Jedi while they build, play and display.
Heat Vision has an exclusive look at a line of Hasbro’s Force Friday offerings, which include items from the company’s prestigious Black Series line with six-inch figures.
One standout looks to be the First Order Stormtrooper Executioner figure, which will be exclusively available at Target and retail for $19.99. This Stormtrooper’s task is to “dispense final justice to those who feign loyalty to the First Order," with fans speculating that Finn, the character played by John Boyega, will have to face them for having been a deserter in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Hasbro also has a First Order Stormtrooper with all the fixings (with gear, says the description). It comes with at least eight accessories. That's a hefty amount of gear. This one is an Amazon exclusive and will sell for $34.99.
Meanwhile, Toys"R"Us will be selling a Black Series Admiral Ackbar and First Order Office Two-Pack for $39.99.
Hasbro has a Black Series line that stands 3.75 inches and for Force Friday will be unveiling an assortment pack that includes the Elite Praetorian Guard (with blade!), Resistance Tech Rose, Luke Skywalker and, here we go again, the Stormtrooper Executioner.
The pack will be available exclusively at Walmart and retails for $12.99.
