Presented by the International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, the 43rd Annual Annie Awards are set to be held Saturday at UCLA’s Royce Hall. Here's a guide to the animation world's big night, and the complete list of nominees can be found here.

With 14 nominations, Disney/Pixar's Inside Out is the animated feature film frontrunner.

The nominees for best animated feature are Inside Out, Disney/Pixar's The Good Dinosaur, Fox/Blue Sky's The Peanuts Movie, Aardman Animations' Shaun the Sheep Movie and Anomalisa, distributed by Paramount. A new category for best animated indie feature includes Studio Chizu's Boy and the Beast and a trio of films from indie distributor GKIDS: Boy and the World, Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet and Studio Ghibli's When Marnie Was There.

Following Inside Out, the most mentions in the feature categories went to Good Dinosaur with nine nominations and Universal/Illumination Entertainment's Minions with eight. All three reached these numbers by earning multiple noms in categories including character design, storyboarding or voice acting.

In the animated feature directing category, nominees are the helmers of Anomalisa, Inside Out, PeanutsShaun the Sheep Movie, The Prophet, When Marnie Was There and Extraordinary Tales. Nominations in the writing category went to just three pics: Inside Out, Shaun the Sheep Movie and When Marnie Was There.

Only twice in the last five years did the winner of the best animated feature category go on to win the Oscar for best animated feature.

Last year, How To Train Your Dragon 2 won the top Annie while Big Hero 6 claimed the Oscar. This year, the Academy Award nominees for feature animation are Anomalisa, Boy and the World, Inside Out, Shaun the Sheep Movie and When Marnie Was There.

The Revenant's bear is nominated in the category for character animation in a live-action production (and according to the nominees list, the bear's name appears to be 'Judy.')

Mamma grizzly is nominated alongside Indominus Rex from Jurassic World; Hulk and Ultron, both from Avengers: Age of Ultron; and Azog and Smaug, both from The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies.

Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jon Hamm are among the Annie nominees.

The nominees in the category for voice acting in an animated feature are Jennifer Jason Leigh, as Lisa in Anomalisa; Amy Poehler, as Joy in Inside Out; Phyllis Smith, as Sadness in Inside Out; Pierre Coffin, as the Minions in Minions; Jon Hamm, as Herb Overkill in Minions; Alex Garfin, as Linus in The Peanuts Movie; Hadley Bell Miller, as Lucy in The Peanuts Movie; and Tom Kenny, as SpongeBob in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

Four special awards will be presented.

Joe Ranft, Phil Roman and Isao Takahata will receive Winsor McKay Awards for career achievement, and Don Hahn will be the June Foray Award recipient for charitable impact on the industry.
