Deluxe Names John Paulson to Lead Film and Ad Postproduction

Deluxe has appointed John Paulson, a branding and advertising vet, to serve as president and general manager of features and advertising post services, reporting to Deluxe CEO John Wallace.

Paulson is a former CEO of brand services company Tag Worldwide and regional CEO for its business services company, Williams Lea Group. He also has served as president of G2 Interactive North America, group account director for DDB Worldwide and held executive roles at Grey Worldwide, Grey Interactive, M&C Saatchi and J. Walter Thompson.

At Deluxe, working in both New York and Los Angeles, Paulson will steer Deluxe brands including Company 3 and Efilm.

“Feature film and advertising are becoming more seamlessly integrated, with creative talent cross-pollinating them and technology re-shaping them like never before,” asserted Paulson in a statement released Monday. “At the end of the day, both are ultimately about creativity."

Deluxe CEO Wallace said in a statement that Paulson joins a leadership team that also includes recently promoted Domenic Rom heading services for TV and recently hired Ed Ulbrich driving visual effects and virtual reality.
