Oscars 2015: What's Next for the Craft Nominees

The nominees and winners are working on films including 'Spectre,' 'Sicario' and 'The Revenant.'

As Oscar season winds down, here's a look at what some of this year's winners and contenders have on their plates. Some of them could find themselves back in next year's race.

Emmanuel "Chivo" Lubezki – who just won back to back cinematography Oscars for Birdman and Gravity — may very well be back in the race next year. He's reteaming with Birdman director Alejandro G. Inarritu on The Revenant.

Veteran director of photography Roger Deakins — a 12 time Oscar nominee, including for Unbroken -- lensed  Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming crime drama Sicario. Additionally, Joe Walker (an Oscar nominee for 12 Years and Slave) is the film’s editor. (Deakins also just wrapped the Coen Bros.Hail, Caesar.)

On board with Sam Mendes for Bond film Spectre are Dennis Gassner, Oscar nominated production designer for Into the Woods; and set decorator Anna Pinnock, who won an Oscar for The Grand Budapest Hotel and was additionally nominated for Into the Woods. Spectre is being photographed by Hoyte van Hoytema and edited by Lee Smith, both of whom are coming off of Interstellar and had previously been nominated for Oscars.

American Sniper's editing nominees Joel Cox, an Oscar winner for Unforgiven, and Gary Roach are heading Down Under on Monday. They’re cutting Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

William Goldenberg -- Oscar nominated editor for The Imitation Game and Oscar winner for Argo -- is cutting upcoming Will Smith starrer Concussion.

Unbroken sound editing nominees Becky Sullivan and Andrew DeCristofaro are reteaming with Angelina Jolie on her upcoming By The Sea
