The Super Bowl pitted Giants against Patriots, but also present during the game were warring alien nations, an ensemble of world-saving super heroes, handsome battleship captains and real Navy Seals.

Trailers for John Carter, The Avengers, Battleship and Act of Valor were several of the many movie clips that played during Super Bowl XLVI. Teasers for several of the trailers were released during the week leading up to the game.

Abigail Spencer, perhaps best known for playing Don Draper’s mistress on Mad Men, is in negotiations to star in In Your Eyes, a "supernatural romance" that Joss Whedon wrote and is producing.

Brin Hill (Ball Don't Lie, the upcoming Planet B-Boy) is directing the low-budget movie, which Whedon is producing with Kai Cole via Bellwether Pictures, a "micro-studio" the duo created in order to produce smaller-budget movies.
