VIDEO: Spike Jonze Directs the New Arcade Fire Music Video
Watching Arcade Fire's latest song "The Suburbs," you can't help but want this to be a full-fledged movie by Spike Jonze (left).
A bit like the unfiltered human behaviour of the first part of Jonze's adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are, this video captures the naturalness of suburban life and the lives of teens, set oddly against the backdrop of some police or military state. I don't have a lot of idea as to what's going on but the video brings me back to my youth and makes me think about a future where some kind of terrorist attack takes place in a mundane fashion. Whatever the case, I want to see more of this asap.
