'American Idol' Contestant Claims He's Homeless

Season 9's Alex Lambert says he's been "sleepin on the street and behind buildings."
Season nine American Idol contestant Alex Lambert claims he's homeless.
The Texas native - who last year signed on for Simon Fuller's web reality show, If I Can Dream - Tweeted that after IICD ended, he's been "sleepin on the street and buildings. "I'm usually a strong person but I can't take it anymore," he also wrote. In other messages, he Tweeted: "I've been goin to coffee shops and other stores so I can tweet to my snaf! Because to be honest! You guys are all I really have! "I'm a poor boy yall! Never had nothin in my life. please be greatful for everything you have. Because there's people out there with nothing! "There's no way i'll ever stop making music as long as i live.. I didn't mean it like that! I just want yall to know the truth!" UPDATE: Lambert's reps later commented that the Idol alum is not homeless.
