'Big Love' Final Season Premiere Down From Last Season

The HBO polygamy drama saw fewer viewers, in part because it aired opposite NBC's Golden Globes.

The final season premiere of HBO’s Big Love had an average audience of 1.2 million viewers Sunday night.

Those numbers are down from last season’s debut (1.7 million viewers), but last year's premiere did not air opposite NBC’s telecast of the Golden Globes.
