'Boardwalk Empire' Named Best New Series at WGA Awards

HBO's Boardwalk Empire has been named best new series at Saturday's Writers Guild of America Awards.
The series was up against Justified, Men of a Certain Age, Treme and The Walking Dead in the category.
The honor was given to writers Meg Jackson, Lawrence Konner, Howard Korder, Steve Kornacki, Margaret Nagle, Tim Van Patten, Paul Simms and Terence Winter.
