'Family Guy' mocks Sarah Palin's son (video)

Fox's "Family Guy" is drawing fire for arguably mocking Sarah Palin's special needs son Trig during Sunday's episode.

In the story, Chris dates a disabled girl who says, "My dad's anaccountant, and my mom's the former governor of Alaska." (Clip below).

Here's the thing: "Family Guy" and "South Park" have mocked the disabled for years. Such cheap shots are insensitive and arguably "wrong," but certainly nothing new. Trig is a toddler. The Palin reference might piss off Sarah Palin, but it's not like it's going to wound her child. Palin is doing her usual "I'm a victim!" reaction, saying it "felt like another kick in the gut." Sorry to seem insensitive, but this is just "Family Guy" being "Family Guy."
