Felicia Day joins Syfy's 'Eureka'

Proving that she can have her hand in everything, Felicia Day -- Web series ("The Guild," "Legend of Neil") as well as "The Guild" comic -- crashed Syfy's "Eureka" panel Saturday to announce that she'll be appearing in 10 episodes of the show.

Fellow comic fan -- and "The Big Bang Theory" guest star -- Wil Wheaton also tweeted during the weekend that he'll be returning to the show later this season. Day, who played Wheaton's nemesis on "The Guild" said she was excited to join the show, possibly as a love interest for Wheaton.

Day, whose previous dips into the sci-fi pool have included a guest starring gig on Fox's "Dollhouse," rushed out of the panel en route to sign copies of the new "Dollhouse" comic.

Day also was at Comic-Con promoting Syfy's "Red," a telefilm in which she'll play a descendant of Little Red Riding Hood.
