Fox developing 'Napoleon Dynamite' animated show

Fox is developing an animated series based on the 2004 movie "Napoleon Dynamite," the network confirmed.
Much of the original cast is on board for the TV version, including Jon Heder and Efran Ramirez, along with filmmakers Jared and Jerusha Hess. Clearly if Fox greenlights the project, it will be destined for its Sunday lineup.
Surprising that Fox would think to make a TV series six years later based on a movie that was very much trendy-for-the-moment, but okay...
