Fox Picks Up Liz Meriwether Comedy Pilot

Fox is continuing its run of pilot pickups.

Add to the mix an untitled Liz Meriwether comedy, about the sexual politics of young men and women. Meriwether wrote the pilot and will serve as executive producer, along with Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope.

The single-camera project comes from the duo's Chernin Entertainment along with 20th Century Fox Television.

Fox previously picked up pilots from Tim Kring, Rob Thomas and two comedies from Sony TV. The network also gave the OK for Ethan Hawke's Exit Strategy, to be directed by Antoine Fuqua.
