Fox reduces 'Past Life' order
6:05 AM PST 11/30/2010 by James Hibberd
Fox is reducing its episode order for midseason crime drama "Past Life."
The network is scaling back its commitment to the Warner Bros. series to seven episodes (including the pilot). The drama is currently scheduled to have an "American Idol" lead-in next year on Tuesday nights, though its unclear if Fox remains committed to that plan.
In the drama, a team uses past life regression to solve crimes.
Statement from Fox:
"Due to the return of AMERICAN IDOL, 24 and our other midseason programming in January, as well as the back order of GLEE, we have a wealth of material for midseason and can only accommodate seven episodes of PAST LIFE on our schedule."
