Fox Rejects Christian Super Bowl Ad (Video)

Fox has rejected a 30-second spot that briefly shows “John 3:16” written on a football player's eye black.

A group of people are seen yelling at the television screen as they watch a football game, not unlike the typical beer commercials that run rampant during the Super Bowl (or any football game, for that matter). When the camera zooms in on a player’s face and shows “John 3:16,” one of the guys decides to look up its meaning on his phone.

The network reportedly rejected the spot because it advanced specific beliefs.

Fox also rejected an ad for the comedy website JesusHatesObama.com.
