'Glee' Co-Star Heather Morris: I Want to Do More Parody Videos
Fans of Fox's Glee know that Heather Morris can dance. But the actress, who plays lovable ditz Brittany on the musical dramedy, has aspirations and talent beyond the singing and dancing showcased on the series.
Morris was instrumental in creating the "Nuthin' But a Glee Thang" video on FunnyOrDie.com.
Morris told The Hollywood Reporter during Fox's TCA party Tuesday that the idea for the video, in which she stars -- and dances, and raps -- that she and her roommate came up with the idea for the video and mentioned it to a producer her agent connected her with who then brought in FunnyOrDie.com.
A week later, they were shooting the video, which also features Glee co-stars Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, Harry Shum Jr. and Naya Rivera in addition to Modern Family's Sofia Vergara.
"We always come up with concepts," Morris said. "I hope to do more. I want to do anything and everything. I got my own Flipcam, so we're trying."
As for what's next on Glee, the actress would only reveal that she was supposed to rap in the Feb. 6 Super Bowl episode but budget constraints nixed that plan.
"I don't sing or rap, but I do dance a lot," she said. "We just shot the 'Thriller'/'Heads Will Roll' mashup and it's nuts."
Beyond that, Morris teased that Brittany will soon ditch her Cheerios uniform and that viewers will get a chance to see her style.
