'Hoarders' sets A&E ratings record

The return of A&E docu-dramas "Intervention" and "Hoarders" set a record for the network Monday night.
The second season debut of "Hoarders" was seen by 3.2 million viewers and 1.9 million adults 18-49, making it the best season opener for any original A&E series ever in the adult demo, and was up 6% from its first season opener. The eighth season debut of "Intervention" was seen by 2.5 million viewers, 1.6 million in the demo, climbing 14% from its seventh season premiere.
