Jesse Williams cast in 'Grey's Anatomy'

Jesse Williams has been cast in a multiepisode arc on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy."

Details about the character are under wraps, but it is understood that he is a sexy, confident new medical professional.

Williams, best known for his role in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" and ABC Family's "Greek," next stars in MGM's "The Cabin in the Woods," directed by Drew Goddard and written by Goddard and Joss Whedon, and in director Antoine Fuqua's "Brooklyn's Finest." He is repped by WME and ROAR.
