Josh Duhamel's Rep Denies He Will Replace Regis Philbin

Josh Duhamel stepping in for Regis Philbin? Don't count on it.

Duhamel's rep tells The Hollywood Reporter that "there is no truth" to the reports that the actor will step in or is in the running to replace Philbin on Live! With Regis and Kelly.

Entertainment Tonight reported that Duhamel was in the running — a report which caught fire when Duhamel’s wife Fergie teased a response to the direct question, telling ET with a smile, "You're going to have to ask him that question."

Duhamel is in New York shooting the movie New Year's Eve.

Philbin had originally planned to step down from Live! With Regis and Kelly in August after 28 years, but that date has moved until November.
