'Lost' veteran joins Showtime's 'Weeds'

Exclu: Eric Lange ("You Don't Know Jack," the bespectacled scientist Stuart Radzinsky on "Lost") has booked a recurring role on the Showtime comedy "Weeds."

Lange plays Ellis Tate, an old classmate of Nancy's. Further details about his role are wrapped up in a hush-hush storyline in the show's upcoming sixth season, which gets underway Aug. 16.

Lange is repped by Jackson-Medavoy Entertainment and Domain.

In other "Weeds" casting news, Showtime announced this morning that Richard Dreyfuss will guest star in four episodes next season, joining previously announced guest stars Linda Hamilton and Peter Stormare, along with returning guest stars Alanis Morissette and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
