NBC lands Jack Black's 'Experiment' pilot

NBC has picked up a comedy pilot from actor-comedian Jack Black.
The network has made a pilot order-with-penalty deal for a new project based on A.J. Jacobs' non-fiction book "The Guinea Pig Diaries: My Life as an Experiment."
The show is about a man fixated on self improvement who takes on difficult experiments and lifestyles, all of which makes things tough on his family.
The husband-and-wife team of Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa ("Til Death") will serve as writers.
Jack Black's production company will produce along with Reveille and Sony TV. Executive producers: Yuspa and Goldsmith, Howard T. Owens and Carolyn Bernstein, Black, Ben Cooley, Priyanka Mattoo.
