NBC picks up 'Perfect Couples'
NBC has greenlighted romantic comedy "Perfect Couples."
"Couples" stars Olivia Munn, Kyle Howard, Christine Woods and others filling out a trio of couples as they struggle to find out what makes the ideal perfect relationship.
Given NBC has its entire current Thursday lineup returning next season and has pickedup fellow half-hour comedy "Outsourced," the moves suggest the network will open up another comedy block on its schedule, possibly Wednesday.
The show is from Jon Pollack ("30 Rock") and Scott Silveri ("Friends") and produced by UMS.
"Jon and Scott are hugely talented writer-producers and they’ve really delivered with ‘Perfect Couples,’" Bromstad said. "The comedy includes a cast of three distinctive couples who share the same issues and will draw viewers in with their relatable stories."
