'Office' spinoff still possible
5:52 AM PST 11/30/2010 by James Hibberd
TCA -- NBC's on-again, off-again spinoff of "The Office" still might happen.
Even though the project sort of morphed into the currently snappily named "Untitled Amy Poehler Comedy," executive producer Greg Daniels is leaving the door open.
"It's not possible for me to be involved physically with that right this second, but we are talking with people back at the 'The Office' about an idea," he says. "And we were talking about it with [writer] Stephen Merchant ... It’s possible that some combination of 'Office' people could produce that without me [actively working on the project]."
