Official: CBS Puts Dan Aykroyd on 'Defenders'
2:50 PM PST 11/29/2010 by James Hibberd
CBS just confirmed via Twitter that Dan Aykroyd will indeed appear opposite his latter-years Blues Brothers partner Jim Belushi.
Tweeted the network: "This Just In…DAN AYKROYD reunites w Blues Brothers partner JIM BELUSHI guesting on "THE DEFENDERS" in early 2011 as a judge needing help!"
(Of course, it was Jim's late older brother John who was best known as Jake Blues).
Aykroyd will appear in two episodes as a tough judge that clashes with Belushi, as showrunner Kevin Kennedy first hinted awhile back.
