Report: Kara DioGuardi out at 'Idol'
6:23 AM PST 11/30/2010 by James Hibberd
Kara DioGuardi will not return as a judge on "American Idol" next season, but Steven Tyler may join J. Lo and Randy Jackson on a reduced three-judge panel, according to a TMZ report.
After late Thursday news that Ellen DeGeneres has resigned as a judge, the site said DioGuardi has been fired. THR previously reported that she may be exiting.
A Fox spokeswoman said the network is not commenting on any of the speculation surrounding the show.
Fox is expected to share its plans for the "Idol" judges next week.
