TLC morphs into Food Network
6:12 AM PST 11/30/2010 by James Hibberd
Does TLC stand for "Tasty Little Confections"?
TLC has ordered yet another food-related reality series, this time taking place in a cupcake shop.
"Cupcake Sisters" (working title) follows siblings and business partners Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis as they run a shop called Georgetown Cupcake.
The show will premiere in July with six episodes and joins TLC’s lineup of culinary programming -- "Cake Boss," "Ultimate Cake Off," "BBQ Pitmasters" and the recently announced "Craving Comfort" and "Little Chocolatiers."
Meanwhile Food Network just glares at TLC, thinking, "Get your own brand."
