Steven Rea: Why 'The Social Network' Will Lose
Steven Rea, the Philadelphia Inquirer movie columnist and critic (not the Oscar-nominated actor by that name) offers the simplest explanation yet why The King's Speech will beat The Social Network:
"The last (and only other) time Geoffrey Rush and Colin Firth teamed up was for Shakespeare in Love, which, of couse, went on to win best picture," says Rea. "And that was from Harvey Weinstein, too."
