Available to the Highest Bidder: Worldwide Rights to Sylvester Stallone's 1970 Debut, 'Italian Stallion'
Original negatives to Sly's soft-core sex film debut are being auctioned on eBay.
It's hard to say just how serious this is, but the auction has all the trappings of the real deal: Up for bid on eBay are the purported original negatives and worldwide rights to that lost cinematic milestone, The Party at Kitty and Stud's.
Not familiar?
Perhaps you've heard of it under its re-cut, re-released name: Italian Stallion, the 1970 soft-core sex film that marks Sylvester Stallone's first feature role (yes, he was Stud). And it can be yours, if you bid in the next 24 hours or so. As of Friday afternoon, the private eBay listing was fetching $412,100.00, but the auction ends Saturday at 3:30 pm.
With the veteran action star in the midst of a resurgence with The Expendables, now up to $265 million in worldwide box office, this early gem could be even more valuable!!
Here's the listing. Don't let it get away!
