IT'S A SIGN: UTA Inks Brit Marling
The actress-writer stars in two films that will have their world premieres at the Sundance Film Festival next week, "Another Earth" and "Sound of My Voice."
UTA has signed actress Brit Marling for representation.
Marling stars in two films that will have their world premieres at the Sundance Film Festival next week: Another Earth and Sound of My Voice. She also co-wrote and produced the movies.
Another Earth, which is in the U.S. dramatic competition, follows two people who fall in love amid tragedy and the discovery of a duplicate Earth. Mike Cahill co-wrote and directed.
Sound of My Voice, which will screen as part of the NEXT section, tells the story of a couple that infiltrates a cult in the Valley. Zal Batmanglij co-wrote and directed the film, which UTA is repping at Sundance.
Marling was the co-writer and co-director of the 2004 festival documentary Boxers and Ballerinas. She next appears in Jamie Babbit’s horror film Breaking the Girl.
