TRAILER: Colin Farrell in 'London Boulevard' (video)
William Monahan's directorial debut hits theaters Nov. 26.
11:44 AM PDT 11/1/2010 by Jay A. Fernandez
GK Films and FilmDistrict will roll out Departed writer William Monahan's directorial debut, London Boulevard, later this month. It's another British gangster flick with Colin Farrell as ... wait for it ... an ex-con trying to go straight who gets pulled back into the criminal underworld.
It looks pitched somewhere between Martin Scorsese and Guy Ritchie, but despite its less-than-original-seeming premise, Farrell remains electric on-screen and could be parlaying more of that In Bruges magic.
