In Wes Anderson's 2004 film The Life Aquatic, Bill Murray opened by offering a tour of his submarine, the Belafonte, and his long-time collaborator is once again making use of his tour guide skills in a new promo video for their upcoming film, Moonrise Kingdom.

This clip finds Murray -- slightly buzzed, perhaps, on spiced rum -- giving an overview of the film's New England island setting and introducing his fellow castmates. 

If you had told people years ago that Bill Murray -- of Meatballs, Stripes, Caddy Shack and Ghostbusters fame -- would play perhaps the 20th century's most dynamic president in a non-satirical film, no one would have ever believed you.

Fast forward a quarter century and acclaimed dramatic roles in films such as The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore and Lost in Translation, and say hello to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, as portrayed by Murray himself.

Sean Bean has signed to star opposite an ensemble cast including Sean Pertwee, Tom Savini and Craig Conway in Shaun Robert Smith-directed WW2 action-horror film The 4th Reich.

Bean, whose resume boasts high profile turns in Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings, will play a charismatic British sergeant major in the film.

Elijah Wood's huge eyes and boyish face offer a certain cherubic purity to a director in search for a hopeful protagonist -- which means that, twisted and inverted, they also present a potential nightmare.

Best known for his work in The Lord of the Rings trilogy as idealistic and determined hobbit Frodo, Wood is subverting that image in Maniac, a remake of the William Lustig-directed 1980 slasher film. Wood takes on the role of Frank, originally played by Joe Spinelli.

Joe Brauner has joined WME as an agent in the music department, bringing with him longtime clients Norah Jones and Amos Lee.

Brauner was previously a music agent at CAA.

Jones and Lee will be represented by WME in North America only; Jones will continue to be represented by CAA outside of North America and Lee will be represented by the Agency Group in Europe.

Dimension Films announced Wednesday that it has acquired U.S. distribution rights to the psychological thriller Compulsion.

The film, which is shooting in Ontario, Canada, stars Heather Graham, Carrie-Anne Moss, Kevin Dillon and Joe Mantegna.

Let's hope Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell's real home life isn't quite this exciting.

The engaged pair co-star as a blissfully wedded couple whose world gets turned upside down and thrown out of orbit when Bradley Cooper -- sporting a dreadlocked mane far from his normal clean-cut style (perhaps a bit reminiscent of his long locks at the beginning of Limitless) comes seeking out the cash that Shepard's character owes him.

Dean Winters has signed with UTA.

The actor is best known for playing Dennis Duffy on 30 Rock. He has appeared as Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) incorrigible ex-boyfriend on 12 episodes.

His other television credits include NBC's Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, FX's Rescue Me, HBO's Oz and Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Michelle Monaghan has joined Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan in The Coup, an action thriller that John Erick Dowdle -- the helmer behind Devil and Quarantine -- will direct from a script he co-wrote with his brother, Drew Dowdle.

Wrekin Hill Entertainment is acquiring North American rights to the found footage thriller Amber Alert.

Wrekin Hill will release the film day and date in theaters and via video-on-demand services this fall, the company announced on Wednesday. 

The film from writer-director Kerry Bellessa was co-written by Joshua Oram and stars Summer Bellessa, Chris Hill and Jasen Wade.
