6 Insightful Tweets from Jay-Z's Twitter Binge
In June, Jay-Z boasted that he had reached his "yearly allotment" of tweets and would not be appearing on the micro-blogging site again until 2014.
But no more than a month into his Twitter cleanse, Jay-Z went on a rapid-fire Twitter tirade, sharing his thoughts on everything from the hacking of his Samsung 'Magna Carta' App to Miley Cyrus. In no time, #MCHG, a hashtag acronym of Jay-Z's recently released album Magna Carta Holy Grail, became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter.
Indeed, since July 4, both "Jay-Z" and "Magna Carta Holy Grail" counted nearly half a million mentions on Twitter.
An earnest response to fans burning questions or a brilliant marketing ploy? Either way, it sure is entertaining.
Here are our top picks from Jay-Z's Twitter binge.
