Ariana Grande's 'Yours Truly' Set for Fall Release
The pop star reveals the album's cover art while confirming that her Republic Records debut will hit shelves in September.
Ariana Grande is finally getting a proper album release.
As the pop star previously told The Hollywood Reporter, "I recorded an entire album that is no longer the album." Referring to what was originally titled Daydreamin' and set for a late August release, Grande said that she chose to scrap nearly an entire full-length in an effort to "find where I wanted to be musically."
Now, Grande has hit her stride with an iTunes chart-topping hit under her belt ("The Way" featuring Mac Miller, which peaked at No. 9 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart) and a follow-up making its Billboard Hot 100 debut this week at No. 21 ("Baby I").
On Wednesday, Grande revealed that her Republic Records debut album has been re-named Yours Truly and unveiled some pretty pink artwork to coincide. The album is slated to hit shelves Sept. 3 and will be available for pre-order beginning next week, Grande announced on Twitter.
The 20-year-old singer-actress poses sweetly on a bed of pink roses wearing frilly pink lingerie on the album cover. The scene is set against a -- you guessed it -- blush pink backdrop.
Grande, who also stars on Nickelodeon's Sam & Cat, kicks off her first string of live performances beginning Aug. 13.
