Bruce Springsteen's 'High Hopes' Interview to Air on Clear Channel Radio Stations
Springsteen will join host Jim Kerr for an "intimate" chat, airing Jan. 14, to discuss his new album.
To celebrate of the release of Bruce Springsteen’s 18th studio album, High Hopes, Clear Channel Media will present a special one-hour program on 100 of Clear Channel's Classic Rock and Adult Album Alternative (AAA) stations nationwide today at 9 p.m. EST.
Hosted by Jim Kerr, The iHeartRadio Album Preview with Bruce Springsteen will feature an "intimate interview" with the musician, complete with a behind-the-scenes look into the new record as he gives fans insights into his song selection process and the messages he wants to convey.
"Bruce is a music legend, and this is a rare opportunity for millions of his fans across America to hear firsthand how High Hopes was made and the stories behind the songs from his new album," said John Sykes, president of Clear Channel Entertainment Enterprises, in a release. "These are some of Bruce's finest songs and we want to help spread the word."
The multiplatform campaign will also include an Artist Integration Program and incorporate a combination of on-air and digital content, including a series of "custom created spots" which will run across Clear Channel's network of Classic Rock, News/Talk and AAA stations for two weeks. In addition, all participating stations and Bruce Springsteen’s iHeartRadio Custom Station page will feature new music off the High Hopes album from Columbia Records, as well as links to buy the album on Amazon.
Springsteen is set to hit the road again, beginning Jan. 26 in Cape Town, South Africa.
