Lady Gaga, Cher, Snoop Dogg, Adam Levine Among Musicians Tweeting Election Elation
The music industry played a key role in Barack Obama’s re-election, and its stars are showing their devotion -- and relief -- on social media.
Musicians played a key role in Barack Obama’s re-election, with some hitting the campaign trail (Bruce Springsteen, Jay-Z), others performing at stump stops (Katy Perry, Jason Mraz, Foo Fighters) and many more endorsing the president via video pleas, tweets, radio ads, onstage banter and letters, among them: Barbra Streisand, Beyonce, Cher, Madonna, will.i.am, Pras, John Legend and Snoop Dogg.
