Grammys 2013: Miranda Lambert Reveals Pistol Annies' New Album is 'Finished,' Coming Out in a 'Couple Months' (Video)
The country star will follow the release by hitting the studio this fall to begin recording her fifth solo album.
Fans of Miranda Lambert and her Pistol Annies won't have to wait much longer to hear new material.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet at Sunday's Grammy Awards, Lambert revealed that the trio -- comprised of Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley -- recently finished recording their sophomore album and completed the coinciding photo shoot.
"It'll be out in a couple months," she said of the Hell on Heels follow-up.
As for Lambert's solo career, the "Fastest Girl in Town" singer will hit the studio to record her fifth studio album later this fall.
The country star hit the red carpet on her own this year, while husband Blake Shelton strolled in just before showtime.
"I don't think he's doing the carpet," she said. "I did all the glam, and it takes forever. He was like, 'I'll just be there at 4:30.' I was like 'OK!'"
For her red carpet look, Lambert chose a navy blue, flowing gown with a plunging neckline by Roberto Cavalli and oversized Kimberly McDonald earrings.
"This dress was so beautiful, but a little bit simpler so I could do something crazy with jewelry," she said, adding that the dress felt custom made. "I have curves, so something that fits, I go with it. This, Cavalli almost made this one for me, it felt like."
