Jon Bon Jovi's Son Injured, Will Miss Notre Dame's 2014 Season
The New Jersey native injured his knee, and will miss the fall season.
Jesse Bongiovi, son of Bon Jovi leader Jon Bon Jovi, will miss all of Notre Dame’s football season this fall due to a torn anterian cruciate ligament in the knee.
Bongiovi, 19, made the team last summer. The freshman, a walk-on cornerback, recorded one tackle in a December game against New Jersey’s Rutgers University in a winning game.
"He's a tough kid," Kelly told csnchicago.com last August. "The kids really like him. They respect him. They don't look at him as a rock star's son. They look at him as a kid that loves Notre Dame and wants to play football and help this team."
