Kelly Clarkson Covers Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' (Video)

Last Friday night in Detroit, Kelly Clarkson pulled on a hoodie to honor one of the city's music icons: Eminem.

Causing the crowd to go wild, the original American Idol and pop powerhouse covered the rapper's "Lose Yourself" onstage, singing his rap lyrics without missing a beat. Impressive. She said her riff on the song from the 2002 film 8 Mile came at fans' request, declaring: "I went from Texas to thug, ya'll!"
