Mariah Carey Drops Obama Song, 'Bring It On Home'
The “American Idol” judge has officially released the slow jam track that she performed at a campaign event earlier this year.
Mariah Carey capped a happy night of watching President Barack Obama secure a second term by releasing a celebratory song, called "Bring It On Home."
Premiering on Global14.com, producer Jermaine Dupri's website, Carey first performed the slow jam track at a campaign event earlier this year.

"We just everyday people trying to make it through the pain," she sings in the song's lone verse. "Yet we intentionally hurt each other playing silly games. But when it comes down to win or lose, don't give up the fight. Strength is what we need, and love can save our lives.
She cautions, "So when you're down and frustrated let em all keep debating because we gonna win."
The rest of the song is a series of gospel-tinged chants of declarations like "I know we can bring it home!" and "Bring it, bring it, bring it," and at one point (02:25) Carey breaks out her trademark high-pitched whistle.

"Congratulations to our beloved President Barack Obama, our spectacular First Lady Michelle Obama & the adorable Malia & Sasha," she wrote. "We love you!"
After watching Obama's acceptance speech well past midnight, she offered this review: "INCREDIBLE SPEECH!!!!!! Watching in a room full of diverse people-all truly moved. Thank you America for President Obama-4more yrs."
