Mariah Carey Hits the Boxing Ring With 'Triumphant (Get 'Em)' (Video)
The glitzy clip also features Philly rapper Meek Mill, Rick Ross and DJ Khaled.
Rocky, Raging Bull, Cinderella Man ... and now Mariah Carey's "Triumphant (Get 'Em)" music video. The glitzy clip, which premiered on Tuesday, features Meek Mill as a scrappy boxer, Rick Ross (and DJ Khaled) as satisfied onlookers, and Carey as a ring girl, showcasing the round number as well as a perfect physique.
With the entire video tinted in gold and black, the "Triumphant" clip, much like the song itself, features Carey in a supporting role -- the real star seems to be Meek Mill, the upstart Philly rapper who declares "They told me get 'em, I got 'em!" in between bouts with a faceless opponent. The final third of the clip belongs squarely to the pop diva, though, who lands some knockout high notes before gold confetti rains down upon her.

"Triumphant (Get 'Em)" was released in three separate formats earlier this month: in the single form featured in the music video, a "vintage throwback remix" and "pulse club mix." "The vintage throwback mix will remind fans of remixes she did years ago, and she's had a lot of Billboard No. 1 dance hits as well," Carey's manager Randy Jackson told Billboard. "She went in and re-sang the vocals, knowing that the two verses on this first version of this single with Meek and Ross were going to be hip-hop verses where people were rapping. We wanted to have something for all of her fans."
Carey fans will also get to watch the superstar triumphantly take over the judges table on the upcoming season of American Idol -- perhaps alongside Nicki Minaj, who is rumored to be hopping on the reality juggernaut for season 12 as well.
