Rapper, reality star, entrepreneur and tech pundit MC Hammer is adding another title to his already extensive resume: official tourism spokesman for the City of Oakland.

Hammer takes part in a new ad campaign based around the slogan, “Oakland: To Know it is To Love It.” He can be seen in a two-minute video singing the praises of his hometown, pointing to its historic theatres, architecture, restaurants and sports teams and emphasizing the many improvements to the area.
