Nicki Minaj Fan is Pummeled by Singer's Security at Miami Concert (Video)
An over-zealous admirer rushes the stage and gets a beating from the hip-hop star's minders.
Some disturbing video has emerged from Nicki Minaj's July 24 concert at Miami's James L. Knight Center.
In a clip posted on MTV's RapFix blog and perezhilton.com, among other online outlets, a fan is seen rushing the stage in an attempt to speak with -- and touch -- the hip-hop star, who was earlier joined by Lil Wayne. The overzealous admirer is promptly removed by a burly security guard and a person who appears to be Minaj's right-hand man Safaree Samuels. The latter is seen stomping, punching and kicking the male fan to the ground as he is dragged offstage.
Surprisingly, Minaj seems unfazed by the violence, laughing and telling the crowd, "I want to say thank you for the love, Florida!"
No word yet on the fan's injuries or whether he plans to file charges against the singer or her security team. A rep for Minaj did not respond to THR's request for comment.
