Aerosmith Keyboardist Recruits 'Real Housewives' Girlfriend, Stone Temple Pilots Guitarist for New Song, Video (Exclusive)
Russ Irwin plays a sloppy drunk in the clip for "Get Me Home," which also features guitar work by Aerosmith's Brad Whitford and an appearance by porn star Chanel Preston.
What do you get when you cross an Aerosmith band member with a Penthouse Pet, a Stone Temple Pilot and a Real Housewife? The video for Russ Irwin’s “Get Me Home,” an homage to old-school Sunset Strip nightlife -- aka partying, booze and girls.
The title track from the Aerosmith keyboardist’s solo album (out now on iTunes), Irwin, whom Real Housewives of New York City fans may also know as Carole Radziwill’s boyfriend, describes the clip as “your classic L.A. DUI story” and “the rock n' roll version of the movie After Hours.”

In it, Irwin holds court at a Hollywood bar as Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford chain-smokes and entertains a gaggle of ladies, including Radziwill and porn star Chanel Preston. Making an appearance on the track is STP’s Dean DeLeo who, along with Whitford, played guitar on the bluesy rocker.
"That wasn't vodka, it was water!” Irwin insists of his role as a sloppy boozer, but cautions, “the message is, if you need to get home and you've been drinking then take a cab." Nevertheless, the shoot was “incredible fun,” he tells THR, giving his girl Carole special credit for “livening things up at the bar” (evidently, the former TV producer opted out of participating in the girl-on-girl kissing scene).

Aside from making several cameos on this season’s Real Housewives (most recently in St. Barts where he, along with fellow male mate Reid Drescher helped throw a wedge into the “girls’ trip” by skewing the "dynamic," according to Housewives Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan), Irwin also co-wrote the new Aerosmith single, "What Could've Been Love."
