Sia Ditches Las Vegas DJ Gig Mid-Set, Claims Club Manager 'Threatened' Her
Bolting from Bellagio hotspot The Bank, the hit songwriter tweeted that she "felt scared by the (alleged) owner, who wasn't digging my tunes and got angry."
Sia, songwriter, artist and guest vocalist on hits by David Guetta (“Titanium”) and Flo Rida (“Wild Ones”), had to cut her DJ set short at Las Vegas nightclub The Bank on Saturday night, tweeting that she and her entourage “felt scared by the (alleged) owner, who wasn’t digging my tunes and got angry.”
Later clarifying that the testy staffer was “in fact the general manager,” Sia wrote that her own manager was "threatened."
The Australian hitmaker behind Rihanna’s smash “Diamonds” then apologized to attendees at the Bellagio hotspot, writing, “Sorry to those who came from near and far. It’s certainly the most uncomfortable situation I’ve been in professionally. Ever!“

Soon after Sia hit the stage, the club posted a photo of her at the decks to Instagram (see above). But both The Bank’s and Sia’s Twitter feeds have been silent for over 10 hours.
Australian dance music site inthemix cites the scuffle as the latest example of artists clashing with club owners – following Mark Farina, whose set was cut short for going too heavy on the house music, and Calvin Harris, who was dismissed for refusing to play Carly Rae Jepsen.
The Hollywood Reporter reached out to The Light Group, which manages The Bank, for comment. Through a rep, the club tells THR, "We always work to provide our guests with the best experience possible. We look forward to welcoming Sia back to The Bank Nightclub."

I had to leave @thebanklv because myself and my elves felt scared by the (alleged) owner, who wasn't digging my tunes and got angry.
