'X Factor's Fifth Harmony Covers Frank Ocean (Video)
The girl group releases the first of several expected covers as they continue to record with Epic Records/Syco Music.
X Factor girl group Fifth Harmony has released a cover of Grammy-winning artist Frank Ocean’s “Thinking About You."
The group -- featuring members Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, Normani Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen and Ally Brooke -- promises that they will upload several more covers for fans to enjoy as they continue recording with L.A. Reid's Epic Records and Simon Cowell’s Syco Music.

The cover certainly got the attention of Epic label head Reid, who dubbed the group “Fifth Unison” in one of several harsh critiques on the show. The former judge sang a different tune on his Twitter account Wednesday.
“Are those actual harmonies I’m hearing? Think so!” he tweeted.
Their forthcoming debut record will be executive produced by producer/songwriter Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Boyz II Men, Flo Rida, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis), who first worked with the group as a music producer on X Factor. The album will also feature collaborations with songwriters Autumn Rowe (Cher Lloyd, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis) and Lil’ Eddie (Usher, Pink, Jessie J, Cody Simpson).

As The Hollywood Reporter previously reported, Fifth Harmony has spent the last two weeks in the studio as they lay the groundwork for their debut album and single. The girls are set to return to their respective homes on Wednesday, but sources tell THR that the label is working to coordinate follow-up sessions in the near future.
