YouTube star PewDiePie is writing a book, This Book Loves You, publisher Penguin Random House announced Thursday.

The book written by PewDiePie (real name Felix Kjellberg) will be an illustrated volume of “indispensible advice and inspirational quotes” and is set to be released on Oct. 20.

"This book is a great chance for me to reach my audience in a new way," said Kjellberg in a statement. "The original idea actually came from my fans via Twitter, so I really think they're going to love it. I'm excited to finally share it and it's been great to collaborate with Penguin to make this a reality."

Kjellberg aka PewDiePie has emerged as one of the biggest digital stars, with 40 million subscribers and 9 billion views on his YouTube channel since he started it in 2010. The growth has been exponential the last couple of years with the channel passing 1 billion views only in 2013.

He has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, AdWeek and The New Yorker. He was named on Forbes’ 30 Under 30, Vanity Fair’s New Establishment, and Time’s 30 Most Influential on the Internet, and has received Teen Choice, Streamy, and Shorty awards.

Books by YouTube stars have seen a lot of success this year. Books by Shane Dawson and Connor Franta got hot starts, while UTA and Atria started a publishing imprint solely for digital stars. But there was controversy over news that Zoe Sugg’s used a ghost writer for her novel Girl Online

Maker Studios represented Kjellberg. Alex Clarke, publishing director of Penguin Random House imprint Michael Joseph, represented the publisher.
