Ah ... Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt back on the red carpet, just like we like 'em. And they both looked incredibly hot last night at the Arclight Theatre in Hollywood in their color coordinated navy blue ensembles. Jolie looked wore a navy blue Romona Keveza one shouldered navy gown with Jimmy Choo shoes for the premiere of her directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey, a love story set during the Bosnian conflict that is being quite well received by the critics.
Wouldn't it be amazing if she gets an Oscar nom? We're willing to bet that the film will get some notice by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association at their 2012 Golden Globe Awards. It's worth noting that Michael J. Abramowitz , director of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum introduced Angelina before the film began. She spoke eloquently, without a touch of nerves, thanking all the people involved, from FilmDistrict’s Graham King and Bob Berney, to the cast, who were all there, and the crew. She ended by saying “I was trying to show the hostility between people and how the world stood by and watched it happen. This must not be repeated again. I’m hoping that this will educate people to preserve peace between different ethnic groups. It was my privilege to be able to be a part of this project.”
Her main man Pitt wore navy blue Tom Ford suit with horn rim glasses and long parted in the middle hair. this is a new look for the Brad Man. One has to wonder, is he channeling Johnny Depp, Jolie's costar in The Tourist? She had both the men in her life at the premiere. A gracious Angelina seemed surprised to see her dad Jon Voight on the red carpet and did not interact with him at all at the after-party.
But here's the bad news. According to a report and photos published in the Daily Mail, Jolie's heel ripped the hem of her gown as the couple was leaving the premiere post party. We're amazed that doesn't happen every night during awards season. And it's doubtful that the designer -- or Jolie's longtime stylist Jen Rade -- will mind one bit.
