Anne Hathaway's Engagement: All Bets Are on Valentino to Design Her Wedding Gown
The 28-year-old actress has a long fashion friendship with the Italian designer, who has already walked her down red carpets.
Anne Hathaway is engaged to be married! After an engagement ring was spotted on her ring finger over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, the actress' rep has confirmed to THR the 28-year-old actress' engagement to actor Adam Shulman, 30.

Schulman is also her producing partner on a new Paramount thriller, Puzzler, in which she will -- naturally -- also star. But Shulman has another talent. He's also a jewelry designer and worked with Kwiat Heritage to design his fiancee's special ring.

Schulman began dating Hathaway in 2008, right after her breakup with Raffaello Follieri, who pled guilty to 14 counts of fraud, money laundering and wire fraud. And yes, there will come a time when that nasty business will no longer mentioned in a story about Hathaway. But since even she managed to make mock of the situation while hosting on Saturday Night Live, she seems to have a sense of humor about it.
Anyway, congrats to the happy couple. Now can we start speculating on which designer will do her wedding gown?
STORY: 'Dark Knight Rises' Star Anne Hathaway Engaged to Adam Shulman
Our money's on Valentino, her Fashion BFF for over a decade. He walked her down the Oscar red carpet in 2011; wearing his spectacular red gown. She wore his flutter sleeve lacy dress to the recent Spike TV Awards. Valentino even had a cameo in The Devil Wears Prada and she's got a reserved front row seat at his Paris couture shows. In the photo above, she wearing his enchanting and quite bridal-like creation to the White Fairy Tale Love Ball in 2006 held at the Chateau de Wideville in Crespieres, France.

Sure she's played the fashion field, wearing Erdem, Preen, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Tom Ford, Gucci, Versace, Reem Acra, Prada, and many other designers.
But for her wedding? C'mon. It's gotta be her go-to guy Valentino.
