Anne Hathaway's Fiance Makes Cool Jewels
Not all that much is known about Anne Hathaway's new fiance, Adam Shulman, except he's an actor who's done some TV and commercials, and he helped design her engagement ring with Kwiat. We also learned, upon hearing of their nuptuals, that he's a sometime jewelry designer, so we decided to find out more.
Shulman's middle name is "Banks," and the name of his brand with a partner named Heidi Nahser Fink is James Banks Designs. Their website is www.jamesbanksdesign.com.

The line of jewelry, which can be purchased on their site and others, is small but extremely personal and quirky. The site says it's handcrafted in Northern California and that each creation tells a story. Their most popular piece, the Light Bulb necklace, is a bulb-shaped vessel on a pendant chair that represents holding onto moments in your life you want to carry with you; the price is $1,100.
The butterly collection of necklaces, which is about the butterflies in your stomach you get when you're into someone, is considerably less, hovering under $300 for most of the different styles and fabrications.

Written on the site's message is this: "The mentality behind our work is that jewelry should be more than just an object you wear but rather should carry with it a past and a future that can mold and change with your life."
How much do you want to bet Shulman's engagement ups the sales of James Banks Design in a big and sudden way? Can you get better branding than Anne Hathaway?
