Style Notes: Kristen Stewart Glitters in Gold; Margherita Missoni Dismisses Rumors of New Line
THR breaks down the day's hottest fashion headlines
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson dazzled at the final premiere for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in Berlin.
Pattinson sported a classic, gray Burberry suit. Stewart, on the other hand, went for a brighter look. She strolled out in a gold Elie Saab gown with a high slit matched with Christian Louboutin strappy, black heels. Stewart later paired the gold number with a black, leather jacket, giving the look a pretty-meets-tough edge. [Coco Perez]
Chanel pays homage to the love affair between Marilyn Monroe and Chanel No. 5 in a mashup video on the Inside Chanel site. The video serves as a pastiche of Monroe's multifarious testaments of affection for the perfume. Marilyn poses nude in bed with No. 5 next to her on her nightstand for a Modern Screen photoshoot; Marilyn tells journalist Georges Belmont of French magazine Marie Claire that she only wears No. 5 to bed. The video ends, "Forever, Marilyn and No. 5." [Inside Chanel]
Kym Johnson, of Dancing with the Stars fame, is the new face of PajamaJeans. You know, those comfortable-yet-fabulous stretchy jeans you see on infomercials after Law & Order re-runs? "They truly are the best of both worlds, giving me a fashionable look I’ve been searching for, while adding the comfort I need to do my job,” Johnson said of PajamaJeans, which launched in 2008. Johnson can be seen endorsing the jeans made of DormiSoft fabric, which is a blend of spandex and cotton, in the brand's new 30-minute feature. [Pajama Jeans]
Margherita Missoni has dismissed rumors that Missoni will launch a lower-priced line. "You need to evolve," Missoni told the Wall Street Journal. "If you sit for a moment, you're not relevant in fashion anymore." To diffuse rumors, she took to Twitter (@mmmargherita): "Missoni is NOT launching a second line. We already have a second line and it's called M Missoni." [Racked]
Jennifer Aniston stunned in a classic black and white Valentino gown Thursday night at the 26th American Cinematheque Awards. Aniston paired the gown with a white, studded clutch -- also Valentino -- and her signature straight locks. Matching couple alert: Her fiance, Justin Theroux, donned a similar look -- a timeless tuxedo. [PopSugar]
